Ballarat Like Minds is an informal 'event focused' group aimed at younger generation in the Ballarat region . It brings together a unique collection of professionals, small business owners, tradespeople, retailers and students who meet regularly for a night of networking and entertainment. BLM has been a huge success since its inception in 2002, attracting the likes of Poppy King, Ricky Nixon, Jim Penman, (Jim's Mowing) Justin Herald and Brooke Hanson as guest speakers as well as a host of local success stories.

There are 3 levels of sponsorship available to Ballarat Businesses.
- Major Sponsor - up to 5 sponsors only, includes logo on all materials including tickets, website, advertisements [print, email and television] and on event nights as well as many other benefits.
- Event Sponsor - allows you to display logo's and other promotional material on the night of your sponsored event. You will be named as event sponsor on radio advertisements. Your logo also appears on the Television commercial and Newspaper advertisements for that event. You also get to 'introduce' the guest speaker for the night and spend some time on stage promoting your business to the BLM members.
- Minor Sponsor - can take the form of donated giveaways or prizes for distribution on the event nights, your organisational information and special offers will be distributed to members.
